The protection of privacy and personal data is a priority for Restaurante Olivalmar and a clear commitment assumed by us.

This policy concerns the privacy practices within the activity performed by Olivalmar including portals, online sites and other services managed by this Agency. The personal data you provide to us during the interaction with the various services will be treated with the security and confidentiality guarantees required by the legal framework on personal data protection.

The portals and sites under the responsibility of Olivalmar, within the scope of the services provided, contain links to other sites under the responsibility of third party entities. Olivalmar's privacy policy applies exclusively to the sites and services under its responsibility. When you access other entities' sites, even if from sites under Olivalmar's responsibility, you should read their respective privacy policies.

The access and use of the services, portals and sites, under the responsibility of Olivalmar, should be free by the user presuming that Olivalmar has read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions for its use.

Any attempts to alter the information, or any other action that may cause damage and put at risk the integrity of the system, are strictly prohibited under current legislation. The user undertakes to scrupulously comply with the applicable legislation, particularly with regard to computer crime and intellectual property rights, and is solely responsible for the infringement of these regulations.

1. Data Protection Officer

Olivalmar has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted through the e-mail address geral@olivalmar.com.

2. Privacy

Olivalmar respects your right to privacy. The data requested are intended for the provision of the service requested by you, not being collected personal data that are not necessary for the provision of the service or without your consent.

The interaction with the services, portals and sites of Olivalmar does not require information from the user, except when, for purposes expressly identified, the registration is declared necessary and is authorized by the user in accordance with the following terms.

3. Responsible for Treatment

Olivalmar as the data controller:

Ensures that the processing of your personal data is carried out within the scope of the purposes for which they were collected or for purposes compatible with those purposes;
Collects, uses and keeps only the personal data necessary for the purpose in question;
Does not transmit personal data for commercial or advertising purposes;
Processes personal data for legally prescribed purposes or for the performance of services at your request.

Subcontractor

Olivalmar as a subcontractor undertakes to comply with the privacy and personal data treatment agreements contracted with the entities responsible for data treatment.

4. Types of Personal Information we collect

The personal data subject to processing by Olivalmar are of diverse nature, given the provision of services promoted in the electronic platforms and other services under its management.

According to the type of services provided, the following may be collected: IP address; name; age; tax identification number; civil identification number; social security number; identification document number; address; email address; and cell phone number.

5. Personal Data Security

Olivalmar, in the pursuit of its activities, uses a set of technologies and security procedures suitable for the protection of personal data, protecting them from unauthorized access or disclosure, namely:

Logical security measures, in the component of access to systems and workstations through identity, authentication and privilege management mechanisms; in the network component the use of firewalls and intrusion detection systems, segregating networks and applicational environments, as well as, encryption of information through secure communication channels.

6. Access to and control of your Personal Data

We make it possible, at your request, to access, rectify and delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

If the use of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent, without jeopardizing the validity of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Through the Data Protection Officer you can request

Information about your data;
information about the processing
the purpose for which the data is being processed;
correct or updated data;
Your data in an open format;
The erasure of data, without prejudice to the law applicable to the processing in question.
Personal Data Archiving

Your personal data is kept by Olivalmar for the period necessary to the treatment, according to the respective purpose.

The conservation periods can be changed when the public interest, historical, scientific or statistical reasons justify it, committing Olivalmar to adopt the adequate conservation and security measures.

7. Cookies and Similar Changes

Olivalmar uses cookies and other similar technologies on its websites to improve the performance and browsing experience of its users, increasing the speed and efficiency of response and eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.

Placing cookies helps electronic sites to recognize the user's device on the next visit and is often essential for the operation of the same.

The cookies used by Olivalmar do not collect personal information that allows the identification of the user, keeping only generic information, such as the form or region/city of access, among others.

The cookies used in Olivalmar websites and portals are the following:

Essential - necessary for navigation on the website, guaranteeing access to private areas of the website, in order to allow the performance of services, namely session cookies.
Analytical - necessary for the collection of information for statistical analysis of navigation and use of the website, namely Google.
Social Networks - possibility of interaction with social networks, namely:

- Instagram;
Performance - necessary for monitoring the user experience of the website, examples of which are:
- Cloudflare;

The information generated by the use of cookies may be sent to third parties for trend analysis, navigation and performance tracking, without, however, identifying any person.

8. How to control the use of Cookies?

Users can prevent the use of cookies in their browser settings. If you limit this option, however, the use of some features or the performance of certain tools may be limited.

It is also possible to use browser extensions (browser add-on's) to disable the use of some functions. Google provides an extension for Google Analytics that allows you to disable its use. It is available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/

Olivalmar is implementing a cookie management system, available at this moment in only 2 sites (authentication,gov and ePortugal), but whose implementation will be extended to all Olivalmar sites.

Through this system it is possible to disable all cookies considered as "non-essential", allowing you to manage them and check which cookies are being used by each Platform.

By using this system you are warned that the change from consent to non-consent does not have retroactive effect, i.e., it does not delete cookies previously installed on your device. To do so, you must eliminate the cookies through your browser (see below on how to do so).

9. How to manage Cookies in different browsers:

Google Chrome

By default, all cookies are allowed, but you can adjust this setting. Follow these steps: Click on the Chrome menu in the browser toolbar.

Settings;
Show advanced settings;
Under "Privacy" click Content settings;
Select "Block sites from setting data."
To change your cookie settings, follow these steps:

Delete cookies;
Block cookies by default;
Allow cookies by default;
Keep cookies and website data by default until you exit the browser;
Make exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains.
Internet Explorer:

Select the "Tools" menu and the "Internet Options" option;
Privacy" tab;
Move the bar to the top, where the message "Block all cookies" will appear.
Mozilla Firefox:

Select the "Tools" menu;
Select "Options";
"Privacy", which you will find in the top panel;
In the cookies section disable the "Accept cookies from sites" option. Click "OK" to save the changes and close.
Safari:

Select "Edit."
Click on "Preferences";
In the top panel, select the "Privacy" icon;
In the "Accept Cookies" section, select "Never".

Applicable Law and Competent Court

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Portuguese law. The court of the area of Lisbon has jurisdiction, to the exclusion of any other, to settle any disputes arising from the interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions.
